High Court lets team Mamata Banerjee operate three bank accounts

The Calcutta High Court permitted the Mamata Banerjee faction to operate three frozen bank accounts. The state police had frozen these accounts due to alleged illegal transactions. The court clarified that the ECI's interim order does not affect its decision. This ruling allows the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool to access funds until January 29, 2027. The ECI had previously granted separate symbols and names to two Trinamool factions.
