Maharashtra FDA seized and destroyed suspected adulterated, substandard and unhygienic food worth over Rs 1.36 crore during a four-day statewide drive ahead of the festive season. Teams inspected 64 establishments, suspended 12 licences and issued notices to 36. Authorities also seized adulterated sweets and banned tobacco products.
