Iran shuts language centre affiliated with French embassy in Tehran

Iranian authorities announced the closure of a French language center. The center, affiliated with the French embassy, was accused of illegal activities. Judiciary officials stated the center violated diplomatic conventions and abused its status. This action follows recent strains in relations between Iran and France. Two French diplomats were previously expelled by France from the Islamic republic.
