Karnataka approves data centre, marine biotech policies

Karnataka has approved new policies for data centres and marine biotechnology sectors. These initiatives aim to attract significant investment and expand economic activity statewide. The data centre policy targets one gigawatt of IT load by 2031. Marine biotechnology seeks to grow the blue bioeconomy to eight billion dollars by 2031. Both policies will foster infrastructure development and create numerous job opportunities.
