NEET-SS cut-off to drop to 30%, over 6,000 more candidates eligible, Centre tells Supreme Court
The Centre will reduce the NEET-Super Speciality qualifying percentile to 30. This move aims to fill 1,857 vacant seats in highly specialized medical disciplines. Tamil Nadu's 40 in-service seats will be returned for a week. Unfilled seats will then join the national pool for a special round. This decision follows Supreme Court concerns over unfilled seats annually.
