Psychology says people who ace job interviews may share this one skill that has little to do with their resume
Performing well in an interview and performing well on the job require some of the same abilities, but success in one does not automatically predict success in the other. A highly capable employee may struggle to present themselves effectively when being evaluated, while a confident and polished candidate may give an excellent interview without necessarily becoming the strongest performer once hired.
