JE suspended, electricity official faces action as Yamunanagar Municipal Corporation house cracks down on lapses

A junior engineer faced suspension following complaints during a Municipal House meeting. Another junior engineer from the electricity corporation will also face action for delayed repairs. An agency was debarred for failing to meet development work quality standards. Officials absent from meetings will receive show-cause notices for their non-attendance. The corporation has issued many challans and collected significant fines for plastic violations.
