Three shot dead, 15 wounded ahead of polls in Philippine Muslim enclave

Three people were killed and 15 wounded in gunfire hours before voting opened in the Philippines' Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, which was holding its first parliamentary election. The violence erupted after rival political groups clashed over their positions in a queue outside a polling station in Cotabato.
