Jindal Steel builds world’s longest steel slag road, enters Guinness World Records
Jindal Steel achieved a Guinness World Records title for constructing the world's longest road. This 1.85-km four-lane road was built exclusively with processed steel slag aggregates. Around two lakh tonnes of steel slag replaced natural aggregates, reducing quarrying dependence. Scientifically processed steel slag offers cost-effectiveness and durability compared to traditional road materials. India's steel ministry promotes this technology for large-scale industrial by-product utilization.
