103 rescued, several missing as Indonesia launches search after passenger ship goes missing

Indonesian rescuers evacuated 103 people after a ship lost contact. The passenger vessel was travelling from East Java to South Kalimantan island. Officials reported the ship experienced a communication failure while en route. Its last known position was in the Java Sea, far from Banjarmasin. No casualties have been reported yet following the incident.
