Meghalaya BJP talks intensify as 8 UDP MLAs remain in touch, says Suin

Eight United Democratic Party MLAs in Meghalaya are in discussions with the BJP, party legislator Ollan Singh Suin said, amid speculation of a possible merger. Suin said the legislators had made certain demands and would decide after receiving a response. UDP general secretary Titosstarwell Chyne, however, ruled out anyone leaving.
