BRICS countries reaffirm commitment to combat corruption, welcome cooperation on fugitive offenders

BRICS countries on Saturday reaffirmed their commitment to combat corruption, welcoming new mechanisms to trace fugitive offenders and strengthen asset recovery. The New Delhi Declaration backed an Expert Network on Asset Recovery and an informal cooperation repository, while encouraging greater coordination among law enforcement agencies and implementation of international anti-corruption agreements.
