BRICS joint statement to be issued as member nations reach consensus: Govt sources

BRICS nations achieved a joint statement after intensive negotiations concluded early Saturday. India led sustained consultations to bridge competing positions among member countries. This consensus is significant as Iran, Saudi Arabia, and UAE are members. India's diplomatic efforts ensured differences did not derail the BRICS process. Leaders are attending the summit hosted by India from September 12 to 13.
