Peru awaits India response as trade talks near end, minister says

Peru sent a counterproposal to India for a free trade agreement. This deal is hoped to be signed by the year 2027. India has become Peru's second-largest export destination this year. Peru also discussed recent United States duties on its exports. Discussions continue regarding tariffs and bilateral trade relations with Washington.
