SIP stoppage ratio drops to 81% in August as new registrations beat closures for fourth month in a row
August saw mutual fund SIP inflows soar to an unprecedented Rs 32,297 crore. The stoppage ratio has now dropped for four consecutive months to 81.05%, signaling improving investor engagement. Notably, new SIP registrations outpaced those that were suspended or completed. This growing confidence is reflected in over 10 crore SIP accounts, contributing to a total market asset valuation of Rs 87.08 lakh crore for the Indian MF industry.
