Meet Sho Yano, the American prodigy who composed music at 5, entered medical school at 12 and earned his medical degree at 21
Sho Yano, a 21-year-old, graduates from the University of Chicago medical school this week. He began reading at age two and entered college at nine years old. Yano also earned a Ph.D. in molecular genetics and cell biology from the university. He will now begin his residency in pediatric neurology, which he is preparing for. His younger sister is also a prodigy attending Johns Hopkins University.
