BRICS Summit: 15,000 Delhi Police personnel to be deployed for multi-layered security

Delhi Police will deploy around 15,000 personnel and 200 paramilitary companies for security during the BRICS Summit on September 12-13. Security will cover Bharat Mandapam, airports, hotels and routes used by foreign dignitaries. Traffic restrictions are expected from September 10 to 14, with police saying they will aim for maximum security while minimising inconvenience to the public.
