Over 43 lakh people affected in 14 districts as flood wreaks havoc in Bihar

Over 43 lakh people are affected by Bihar floods across fourteen districts. Several rivers, including the Ganga, are flowing above their danger levels. Incessant rains and Nepal catchment rainfall caused rivers and streams to overflow. The state has deployed rescue teams and is operating community kitchens for affected citizens.
