Indian engineer couple who studied at Venkateswara University and moved to US for higher education donates Rs 191 crore to US varsity for research on AI
An Indian-origin engineer couple, Anuradha and Vikas Sinha, has donated $20 million (around Rs 191 crore) to the University of North Texas, funding a new college focused on artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. Both studied engineering in India before moving to the US for higher education, with Vikas later earning his PhD from UNT.
