5 dead, dozens missing after fire on passenger ferry in Philippines

A passenger ferry caught fire near Coron in Palawan province. The MV June Aster vessel was sailing from Manila when the blaze erupted. Five individuals have tragically lost their lives in the incident. Coast guard officials reported that 42 people have been successfully rescued. Rescue efforts are continuing as 87 people remain unaccounted for.
