Sonipat man missing for 40 days found dead; friends held over suspected Rs 18,000 theft

In a tragic turn of events, two friends have been arrested for the shocking murder of Vivek, whose decomposed body was discovered nearly forty days after he vanished. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute regarding Rs 18,000 that went missing during a trip to Haridwar. Police believe that Preetam suspected Vivek of the theft, leading to a fatal altercation, after which they allegedly disposed of his remains near Gohana.
