Bangladesh fights world's worst measles outbreak as vaccination gaps fuel spread

Bangladesh is battling what the US CDC lists as the world’s largest measles outbreak, with 999 suspected and confirmed measles-related deaths reported since March. More than 166,000 suspected cases have been recorded as hospitals struggle with overcrowding, vaccine disruptions and a simultaneous surge in dengue.
