Land grab probe: Custodial interrogation of Abhishek Banerjee's PA needed, WB tells SC

The West Bengal government seeks custodial interrogation of Sumit Roy in a land grab case. Huge cash deposits were made by Roy into a bank account, the state informed the court. Roy has been evasive during the ongoing investigation, according to the Solicitor General. The Supreme Court directed the probe agency to produce relevant bank transaction records.
