Real estate's contribution to India's GDP could rise from the current 8-9 per cent to 15-20 per cent by 2047, with expansion across residential, office, warehousing, logistics, education and healthcare segments, although the sector faces several headwinds, Gulam Zia, International Partner and Senior Executive Director - Research, Advisory, Infrastructure and Valuation, Knight Frank, said on Tuesday.
