Ishan Kishan scored an unbeaten century as East Zone dominated South Zone on day one. East Zone reached 385 for four, with Kishan and Kushagra adding 144 runs. Abhimanyu Easwaran and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi provided a strong opening partnership for East. Shikhar Mohan also contributed a valuable 85 runs on his debut. South Zone bowlers struggled to contain East Zone's strong batting performance.
