Tragic coincidence: Hemant Soren cabinet loses 3 education-linked ministers since 2023

Since 2023, Jharkhand's education sector has faced a devastating blow with the passing of three ministers. Sudivya Kumar, the minister for Higher and Technical Education, succumbed to cardiac arrest recently. Ramdas Soren, who managed School Education and Literacy, died after a fall in August 2025. Additionally, Jagarnath Mahto passed away in April 2023 due to health complications.
