Iran says it targeted oil tankers, US vessels after American attack

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy said it targeted three oil tankers using unauthorized routes through the Strait of Hormuz and three additional US vessels elsewhere, according to a statement. The US did not immediately confirm Iran’s claim. Separately, US Central Command said American forces struck three Iranian oil tankers.
