ISL to kick off on October 10, returns to traditional home-and-away format
The Indian Super League will resume its traditional home-and-away format for eight months. This season kicks off on October 10, 2026, and concludes in May 2027. Thirteen teams will compete in a round-robin league, with playoffs for the ISL Cup. Churchill Brothers will replace Jamshedpur FC, subject to regulatory approvals. Diamond Harbour FC will not participate this season due to administrative fee issues.
