Punjab cabinet approves 3 foodgrain policies for Kharif 2026-27

The Punjab Cabinet approved key policies for paddy procurement and movement in 2026-27. Amendments to Punjab Public Service Commission regulations were also sanctioned by the council. Thirty-three hospital posts were revived, and 138 new healthcare positions were created. Eighty vacant Medical Officer (Dental) posts will be filled by the department. These decisions aim to enhance public services and farmer support across the state.
