Rahul Gandhi will be PM candidate in 2029, says Tamil Nadu minister P Viswanathan

Tamil Nadu Minister P Viswanathan stated Rahul Gandhi will be the Congress's Prime Ministerial candidate. He expressed confidence in the Congress party's strong political position within Tamil Nadu. The party has begun preparations for the upcoming 2029 parliamentary elections. Other opposition leaders may also be named as prime ministerial candidates by their parties. Viswanathan asserted Rahul Gandhi remains the only secular party's candidate for 2029.
