'Delete Church’ members tell Mizoram CEO they don’t wish to enrol in electoral roll

Mizoram's Chief Electoral Officer met with 'Delete Church' members regarding their enrollment refusal. These individuals hold strict religious beliefs preventing their inclusion in secular government electoral rolls. The state is currently undertaking a Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls for accuracy. Mizoram achieved 100 percent digitization of its enumeration process for this revision. The final electoral rolls are scheduled for publication on September 7.
