RG Kar case: Ex-Panihati civic chairman arrested

Trinamool leader Somnath Dey was arrested in Bengaluru by West Bengal Police. He is accused in the hurried cremation of a murdered young doctor in August. Dey is the third Trinamool leader arrested in connection with this sensitive case. The police registered an FIR based on a complaint filed by the victim's father. The father alleged pressure was exerted on the family for the cremation.
