Karen Read’s lawyer says Clancy defense attorney may be ‘cut from a different cloth’ as deliberations drag on

One of Karen Read’s former defense attorneys praised Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer for his work as jurors neared the end of a sixth day of deliberations — after twice telling the judge they could not reach a unanimous verdict.

"It immediately brings back the stress and the pressure that comes from having somebody's life in your hands and the very worst part of a trial, which is when the jury's out," said David Yannetti, who was key to Read's defense team through both of her Massachusetts murder trials.
