Delhi Cabinet approves revised solar policy, targets free 3 KW panels for 2.30 lakh consumers

Delhi's cabinet has approved a revised solar policy for households. Households consuming 400 units or more monthly will receive free 3 KW solar panels. The government aims to install panels in 2.30 lakh homes by March 2027. This initiative supports installation costs for many families unable to afford them. The move is part of the city's 'Green Delhi' environmental program.
