Govt reforms, agile economic management bearing results: Nirmala Sitharaman on 7.8 pc Q1 GDP growth

India's real GDP grew 7.8 percent in the April-June quarter. This performance exceeded the Reserve Bank of India's earlier growth forecast. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman credited the people and government reforms for this success. The government remains committed to expanding economic opportunities for all citizens. Nominal GDP grew 10.3 percent while real GVA recorded 8.2 percent growth.
