Vaibhav Sooryavanshi became the youngest Duleep Trophy player to score a half-century. He achieved this remarkable feat at just fifteen years and 157 days old. East Zone bowlers restricted Central Zone to 266 in their first innings. Sooryavanshi narrowly missed a century, scoring 92 runs off 81 balls. His innings ensured his name entered the Duleep Trophy record books.
