6-year-old raped-murdered in Greater Noida, suspect shot in encounter

A man arrested for raping and strangling a six-year-old girl was killed in a police encounter. He was apprehended after CCTV footage linked him to the crime and the child's body discovery. During interrogation, the accused led police to a weapon, then attacked officers with a concealed pistol. A head constable was injured, and police returned fire, resulting in the accused's death.
