AAP leader Gurpreet Gopi shot dead in Punjab's Ferozepur

AAP leader Gurpreet Singh was fatally shot by four armed assailants. The attackers arrived in a car and opened fire on Singh's vehicle in Mamdot bazaar. Singh, aged 45, was traveling with a younger associate, Harpreet Singh, aged 22. Both injured individuals were taken to the Civil Hospital for immediate medical attention. The AAP leader was pronounced dead upon arrival, while Harpreet was transferred to another hospital.
