Mets Activate Juan Soto From Injured List After 1-Month Absence

The Juan the New York Mets invested $765 million in has returned.

New York announced on Saturday afternoon that it has activated Soto from the 10-day injured list. Soto, who's batting second and serving as the Mets' designated hitter in their Saturday afternoon home matchup against the Houston Astros, hasn't played since July 24 due to a calf injury.

To make room for Soto on the active roster, the Mets sent infielder Eric Wagaman to Triple-A Syracuse.
