Judge deals blow to Trump moves to deport pro-Palestinian activists

A US federal judge has ruled that provisions used by the Trump administration to revoke visas and pursue deportation of noncitizen college students over pro-Palestinian advocacy and criticism of Israel are unconstitutional. Judge Noel Wise said targeting protected speech based on its viewpoint violated constitutional protections and warned against government retaliation.
