India sends 11-member rescue team to Nepal as flash floods claim over 500 lives

An 11-member Indian team has arrived in Nepal to assist authorities after devastating flash floods killed more than 500 people and left nearly 2,000 missing. Sent at Nepal’s request, the team includes medical personnel and tunnel rescue experts. Nepal has also sought India and China’s help to construct 42 Bailey bridges.
