DGGI gives Chandrakar, Uppal 30 days to respond to Rs 40,603 crore GST demand

The DGGI has issued notices to Mahadev Book promoters demanding over Rs 40,603 crore in GST. These notices cover alleged transactions linked to the betting network from April 2020 to March 2024. The Directorate General of GST Intelligence assessed the aggregate taxable value at Rs 1,45,010.77 crore. Multiple agencies are investigating the Mahadev Online Book betting application's alleged irregularities.
