US Stock Market: Build-A-Bear shares plunge after retailer cuts revenue outlook, fires growth chief

Build-A-Bear Workshop shares plunged 27.3%, their biggest one-day drop, after the retailer cut fiscal 2026 revenue guidance for the second time. The company cited the loss of a Walmart partnership, slower wholesale opportunities and tariff costs. Shares have fallen 54% this year, while the chief growth officer was also terminated.
