BJP leader’s son, female friend booked after wife’s suicide in Surat

Police registered a case against Saurabh Singh and Ishita for abetting Nidhi Singh's suicide. Nidhi, Saurabh's wife, allegedly died by suicide on August 23 after learning of the affair. Nidhi's family alleged Saurabh's extramarital relationship caused her distress and led to the extreme step. A suicide note was recovered from Nidhi's clothes during the post-mortem examination. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway by the authorities.
