HAL, Safran sign final deal for Aravalli engine that will power India’s next-generation helicopters

The collaboration between Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd and Safran Helicopter Engines marks a significant milestone in aviation. They have secured a contract to produce the Aravalli engine, a helicopter engine generating 3,500 to 4,000 shp. Designed for HAL's future Indian Multi-Role Helicopter and its naval model, this project enhances India's independent aerospace capabilities while reinforcing the partnership between India and France in the aviation sector.
