Delhi's Reclaimed Water Policy: Farmhouses to pay ₹10,000/acre monthly for treated water use

Delhi plans to charge farmhouses ₹10,000 monthly for treated water use. Construction sites over 500 sqm must use reclaimed water for dust suppression. The policy aims for 100% reclaimed water use for non-potable needs by 2036. This initiative seeks to reduce groundwater extraction significantly. A master plan and ADB funding will overhaul water and sewerage infrastructure.
