Sean Grayson, ex-deputy convicted in Sonya Massey killing, dies in prison at 32

Former Sangamon County sheriff's deputy Sean Grayson has died in prison. He was serving a 20-year sentence for the murder of Sonya Massey. Grayson's request for medical release due to advanced cancer was recently denied. His death occurred less than a month after the Prisoner Review Board's decision. Massey's family stated his death does not erase her unjustifiable loss.
