India-New Zealand Defence Dialogue advances talks on maritime security, joint training

India and New Zealand advanced defence discussions focusing on maritime security and joint training. The dialogue aimed to further objectives outlined in the recently announced Roadmap 2030. Both nations agreed to pursue military interaction through various exchanges and high-level dialogues. Cooperation will also enhance dialogue on defence matters and operationalize a joint working group. Further agreements will formalize arrangements on combating narcotic drugs and law enforcement cooperation.
