Chhattisgarh and its Bastar region are now completely safe from Maoism, according to the chief minister. Investors are encouraged to establish industries in the mineral-rich state with new policies. Significant investments exceeding ₹8.25 lakh crore have been committed in various core sectors. The government is improving education and providing employment opportunities for the youth. Tourism, including homestays, is also being promoted, especially in Bastar and Sarguja.
