New security grid formed for strategically located Siliguri Corridor: Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah announced a new triangular security grid for the Siliguri Corridor. This strategically vital region shares borders with Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. New infrastructure projects for the Sashastra Seema Bal were also inaugurated. A high-speed rail corridor connecting Delhi and Siliguri has also been approved.
